Our online orders are processed and billed by Paddle.com (Paddle.com Market Ltd / Paddle Payments Ltd), who acts as Merchant of Record. All refunds are processed through Paddle in accordance with their consumer protection standards.
You can request a refund using either of the following methods:
Once approved, refunds are credited back to the original payment method (credit card, debit card, PayPal, or Apple Pay). Depending on your financial institution, funds generally appear in your account within 3 to 5 business days. No cancellation or handling fees will be charged.
Your Pro licence is a signed file on your own device, and Tessamark verifies it offline — the app never contacts a server to ask whether you are still entitled. We chose that deliberately, so Tessamark keeps working whatever happens to us, and it has a consequence we would rather state plainly than bury: there is no remote kill switch. A licence already installed on your device cannot be switched off by us. Individual one-off licences never expire. Subscription licences run to the end of the period you paid for plus a seven-day grace, and the app renews them while the subscription is paid. Team-seat licences last 90 days and renew automatically while the seat is assigned to you; if your team's administrator reclaims the seat, it is not renewed and stops working when its current term ends.
When a refund is completed your licence is withdrawn, and will not be issued again for activation on further devices. Installations that already hold it are not disabled, and we ask you to stop using Pro features after a refund.
In every case your documents, workspaces and local git history are entirely unaffected, and the free tier continues without interruption or time limit.
